ThisstandardisissuedunderthefixeddesignationD4459;thenumberimmediatelyfollowingthedesignationindicatestheyearoforiginaladoptionor,inthecaseofrevision,theyearoflastrevision.Anumberinparenthesesindicatestheyearoflastreapproval.Asuperscriptepsilon(e)indicatesaneditorialchangesincethelastrevisionorreapproval.

1.Scope*
1.1Thispracticecoversspecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforexposureofplasticsinwindowglass-filteredxenon-arcdevicesinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG155forevaluatingthestabilityofplasticsintendedforuseinindoorapplications.
1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
