POSITION: Reliability Engineer
POSITION CODE: ULC-QA-IQC-2007010109
DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Quality Manager
WORK LOCATION:Song jiang area

SCOPE OF POSITION ( why does this position exist)

To ensure the product’s life and reliability
Define the warranty policy reasonable
Reduce the COPQ(cost of poor quality)

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (list day to day activities, reports, directs etc)
Establish reliability test plan(method)
Build reliability (statistical) model to analyze test and calculate reliability parameters.
Analyze failure mode and root cause
Publish test result and reliability report
Identify and communicate reliability improvement
Establish Burn-in method and procedure
Analysis data of warranty system, provide policy reasonable for prevent and reduce the failure rate in field application
Assist in DOE, MSA,SPC and other quality functions

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE (minimum requirements of the job, cannot be violated)

? Bachelors degree in a related field of study
? 5 years of related experience

SKILLS OR CHARACTERISTICS (5-7 from the competency selection process)

? Have experience in ALT(accelerated life test ),
? Have experience FMEA(failure mode and effective analysis),
? Have experience six sigma,
? Have experience statistical tools (such as spc/statistical process control)
? Have experience in electronic component identification,
? Have basic circuit knowledge
? Have experience in circult/component troubleshooting
